On April 23, 2023, instructors from the Department of Accounting and Consulting, together with students of the “Accounting and Auditing” program at the bachelor’s level, attended a scientific webinar as part of the Global Academic Dialogue organized by AICPA/CIMA. The webinar focused on the topic "Blockchain for Origin and Trust Verification: A Stimulating Factor, Value Creation, and Challenges."

During this Global Academic Dialogue, participants aimed to understand how blockchain creates value for auditing and accounting, particularly in the context of trust, compliance, and the integrity and transparency of reporting.
