04.2021 - CIMA - Business Gamе «AEDIS HOMES»30 April 2021р.

We are pleased to congratulate our winning students of the “Accounting and Auditing” educational program at the bachelor’s and master’s levels (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th years), who throughout April 2021 participated in and received certification for their performance in the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) business simulation “Aedis-Homes.” Their achievements have demonstrated a high professional level of preparation, knowledge, and skills in solving complex business challenges.

We would also like to thank our students and our partners at CIMA, particularly Nataliya Vovchuk, for the opportunity to evaluate professional knowledge through the online CIMA Business Game.

The Aedis-Homes business simulation was developed based on an interactive series of tasks and questions, created from sociological research in the fields of business, finance, and real estate, using the example of “Aedis-Homes” – a successful British construction company. Over 15 developers, programmers, evaluators, academic advisors, and staff from the marketing and technical support departments contributed to the “CIMA Business Game AEDIS HOMES” project.

Students from various universities across Ukraine participated in the game. In total, there were 290 unique players (as some made more than one attempt) and 181 successful results, distributed as follows:

  1. Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University – 65
  2. State Fiscal Service University of Ukraine – 25
  3. National University of Bio-Resources and Environmental Management – 24
  4. Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 19
  5. Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics – 13
  6. West Ukrainian National University – 13
  7. Kharkiv National University of Economics – 7
  8. Khmelnytskyi National University – 4
  9. Kharkiv National Agrarian University – 3

  11. Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University – 3
  12. Ivan Franko National Technical University of Oil and Gas – 2

The business simulation provided students with the opportunity to act as managers of the renowned British construction company Aedis-Homes, using information about the company’s image, organization, and principles to identify its strengths and weaknesses, as well as to explore opportunities for development and increased profitability.
