The Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman and the Faculty of Accounting and Tax Management keep up with the times and market trends and cooperate with professional organizations in accounting, finance, auditing and control.

   One of them is the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors (UFPAA), a public professional self-regulatory, non-profit organization, established in June 1996 to defend the interests of representatives of accounting and auditing professions. The Federation is represented in all regions of Ukraine and today is the largest professional organization in Ukraine that represents the profession of accountant and auditor at the international level and is a full member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

Among the priorities of UFPAA:

• raising the level of professionalism of accounting specialists;

• improving their image in society and improving the quality of services provided by them.

Cooperation with UFPAA opens for the faculty and students of the Faculty of Accounting and Tax Management such opportunities:

• to increase the level of professional education and to be at the forefront of accounting due to advanced training and internship (120 years every 3 years);
• get the certificate of DipIFR (Rus) ACCA;
• take part in joint (KNEU-UFPAA) conferences, seminars and round tables on topical issues of accounting, audit, analysis, taxation;
• participate in the development and implementation of standards and best practices in the field of accounting and auditing.
